Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv's head coach Guy Goodes, and veteran player Guy Pnini, represented the club at a press conference held by the Israeli Winner Sal League Administration in advance of the 2014-15 playoffs. Maccabi's point guard, Jeremy Pargo, with an average of 6.8 assists per game, received the honor of being named the league's King of Assists for the regular season.
Goodes: "We've proven it at the highest levels in Europe: we can guard against any team out there. The playoffs start now; this is money time, and we're going to play our game."
Pnini: "In every season there are ups and downs. In January, our game was at its peak, but by the third round there was a decline, for a number of reasons. I think that now, heading into the home stretch, the players are in a playoffs mindset and they understand the significance of this time. With our experience, and our understanding of what this moment means, we will come out and give our all in this series."
