Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv travelled to Be'er Sheva for the 27th round of the Israeli domestic league. Maccabi took care of business on both ends of the floor throughout the game to secure the 64:96 away win. The crew in yellow and blue remains on top of the domestic standings with a record of 21:6.
"We were very concentrated", said coach Giannis Sfairopoulos. "As we said before the game, we got our confidence back, and I think that the way that we played showed it. We started the game very good defensively; we allowed only nine points and offensively we had a great passing game, we had great ball movement, a great team game and we finished with 28 assists- this is excellent and I think that everybody who played – played in the right way, with the right mentality, and this is how we need to continue until the end".
"It was good coming here and get the win", said the game MVP Michael Roll. "We were focused and brought great energy, and from that our talent level showed out there. Today we were clicking and had a lot of fun, and it was showing; we were making shots, running and getting stops on the defensive end. It's good to win obviously, the comradery in the locker room makes it all better we have more fun and we're improving ".
