Maccabi will be without injured bigs Jaylen Hoard and Jasiel Rivero. Levi Randolph sat out the last two games—wins against Ness Ziona and Virtus Bologna — for a much-needed rest. Head coach Oded Kattash’s full roster will be announced on the morning of the game.
For two Holon players, this will be their first visit as opponents after previously wearing Maccabi’s colors. They are Yiftach Ziv, who played two seasons in yellow and blue, and Jaylen Adams, who spent one season with Maccabi. Adams is led Holon's scoring throughout the season, averaging 15.1 points per game, while the team's new big man, Justin Alston, has impressed with 15.6 points per game in his first four league appearances. Holon recently signed veteran point guard D.J. Cooper, who has been averaging 12.3 points and 7 assists in his first three games.
Holon has been going through a rough period, following the departure of head coach Guy Goodes, who was replaced by his assistant, Guy Kaplan. The team also lost several key players, including Marcus Bingham (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Niv Misgav (Gilboa/Galil), Elijah Mitrou-Long (Varese), and Yotam Hanochi (Galil Elyon). These significant changes have taken a toll, leading to four losses in their last six league games. Holon currently sits in sixth place and is still far from securing a playoff spot.
Historically, Maccabi has dominated this matchup, winning 113 out of 131 regular-season meetings, including the last eight home games against Holon.
