Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv's tight schedule comes into play with a series of three Israeli League contests in the next five days. The string of games starts on Wednesday as Giannis Sfairopoulos's squad will host Maccabi Haifa in Menora Mivtachim Arena (21:15, Live on Sport5 - Channel 55) as they come into the matchup after a dominant win in the Tel Aviv Derby, which boosted their record to 7:2 on the season.
The Yellow & Blue didn't register Chris Jones, Tyler Dorsey, Othello Hunter to the contest, while Omri Casspi and Sandy Cohen, who rejoined the team in the latest practices, won't take part in Wednesday's match. Giannis Sfairopoulos's roster will include the Maccabi's captain John DiBartolomeo, Elijah Bryant, Scottie Wilbekin, Oz Blayzer, Angelo Caloiaro, Dragan Bender, Dori Sahar, Ante Zizic, Eidan Alber, Jonathan Atias, and Yovel Zoosman.
On the other end, Maccabi Haifa has had a tough start to the 2020/21 season sitting in twelfth place in the Israeli League table while recording only two wins in twelve domestic games. The history books note that Maccabi won 59 of their 60 home games versus Maccabi Haifa during the regular season.
