Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv returns to their home court on Saturday night as they'll host Hapoel Holon (20:30, Live on Sport5 - Channel 55) at Menora Mivtachim in their last home game before the final stretch of the season.
After the win over Gilboa/Galil that secured home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, Giannis Sfairopoulos's coaching staff decided to keep the same 12 players that registered the win, which includes: Scottie Wilbekin, T.J Cline, Chris Jones, Angelo Caloiaro, Sandy Cohen, Omri Casspi, John DiBartolomeo, Oz Blayzer, Dragan Bender, Dori Sahar, Ante Zizic and Yovel Zoosman.
Saturday will be the fifth clash between the two sides this season as Maccabi came on top in three of the previous four games. Historically, the Yellow & Blue hold a dominant 105:15 record as they seek for another win over the Purples, providing an additional confidence booster before the playoffs.
Holon comes into Tel Aviv in a tricky situation after their top point guard Tyrus McGee broke his hand and finished the season, joining Maxime De Zeeuw, who's dealing with a shin injury. Other than that, Stefanos Dedas will be without Isaiah Miles for the rest of the season after the forward decided to pack his stuff and leave the country due to security issues. In a corresponding move, the Purples added the International Polish forward Michal Sokolowski.
