But the illusion ended here. Maccabi won the third period 28-19 and opened a 71-57 lead. The final period was garbage time with the final score 96-72.
Although facing one of the weakest team in the League, Maccabi still had problems in the rebounds (34-32) and made 10 turnovers. On the other hand they had a great shooting night: 72% for twi, 42% for three & 83% in FT.
