Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv got back into its winning ways in the EuroLeague with an amazing come from behind finish. Michael Roll led the scorer with 23P as John-Di came off the bench and delivered big on both ends of the court. Jonah finished the game with 10P, & 10R, 3B, 3A, Art had 10P and 3B. In the final minutes of the game Pierre Jackson took control over the game as he tallied 11P and 8A.
After losing to Madrid at the Wizink center in the 16th EuroLeague fixture Maccabi bounced back and got the important win in an eventful game versus Coach Trinchieri who received flowers and get well wishes from Coach Neven Spahija.
Coach Spahija's starting five: Pierre Jackson, Michael Roll, DeAndre Kane, Jonah Bolden and Artsiom Parakhouski. The guests allowed Maccabi to get the early lead and with 03:42 left in the first quarter DeShaun Thomas stepped into the game for the for the first time since his injury. The German team completed a comeback to take a three point led over the locals, Tyus and John reacted, however Bamberg had the final say in the first quarter as they took the 25:20 lead.

Bamberg started the second quarter with the same momentum as Staiger hit a three pointer to give his team the 28:20 lead, Maccabi reacted with a 9:4 run, But Musli gave his team some breathing space to take the 35:29 lead. Maccabi kept imposing the will to take the 39:37 lead, but again the coach Trinchieri's squad had the final say and the lead after 20 minutes as the scoreboard showed 41:39.
Maccabi assisted by the erupting yellow volcano in the stands took the 45:41 lead at the beginning of the third, however a foul followed by an unsportsmanlike foul called on Pierre Jackson in the same play ended the locals momentum as well as forced Coach Spahija to substitute Pierre who now had four personal fouls. John-Di stepped in the game, but Bamberg increased their lead to 52:46, with Karam Mashour stepping in the game the yellows comeback started and two minutes to the end of the third John scored 10 straight points to complete a 10:0 run and to give lead back to Maccabi at the end of the third (65:64).
In-between quarters gate 9 received yellow shirts with the number nine printed on them by FOX to honor Maccabi's legendary number nine Mickey Berkovich who attended the game.

The fourth quarter started with the guests getting an eight point lead (84:76), Roll reacted with a three pointer, and Pierre scored 7 points (7:0 run) to give Maccabi the 88:87 lead, Hacket scored one free throw to tie the game (88:88). With 01:21 remaining DeShaun scored to give Maccabi back the lead 90:88, Jackson stole the ball and started running down the game clock and with two seconds left threw the ball in the air thus securing the win for the yellows who are now with a 9:8 record in the EuroLeague standings.
Maccabi are now heading to another extremely busy week as they will travel to Herzelia on Saturday, then to Piraeus to play against EuroLeague runner ups Olympiacos on Tuesday, Thursday the Yellows will host Crvena Zvezda at the Menorah Mivtachim arena and the next Saturday will host Gilboa Galil.
