With a 150 yellow fans in the stands, the yellows hoped to make amends with a win at Malaga, Spahija's squad started the game better getting the early lead however it was the local team who managed to impose their will throughout the game enroute of getting the 83:69 win as the yellows' EuroLeague record dropped to 12:11, Tyus left the game due to injury (hamstring).

Coach Spahija's starting five: Kane, Roll, Jackson, Bolden and Tyus. The yellows opened the game focused getting the early 7:0 lead, Nedovic's three brought Malaga closer (9:5). Both teams capitalized on offense with the scoreboard showing 13:10 with less than six minutes remaining in the first. Salin tied the game (13:13) however Roll gave the lead back to the yellows forcing Coach Plaza to call for a timeout. The greens completed a 6:0 run to take the 19:15 lead forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Cole's scored from the free throw line however Malaga had the final say in the first quarter being ahead 23:19.

Art and Thomas scored for the yellows at the beginning of the second quarter giving the edge to Maccabi (26:25). Kane connected with Jackson to increase the yellows' lead 30:27. Suarez scored from deep, but Maccabi's fast break put them ahead 34:30 forcing the greens to call for a timeout. Malaga tied the game but Pierre reacted with a three points play (37:34), both teams exchanged baskets (41:40) with less than a minute remaining in the first half, Nedovic gave the locals the 42:41 lead at halftime.

Both teams struggled to score at the beginning of the second half. Jackson and Thomas gave Maccabi the 45:42 lead two minutes into the third quarter. Brooks and Miloslavljevic reacted with four points (46:45). Nedovic increased the locals lead to 49:45 forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Malaga continued imposing their will getting the 54:45 lead. The locals kept their nine points lead with just over three minutes remaining in the third quarter. Roll scored from distance, but Suarez reacted from the free throw line (60:52). The third quarter ended with a three pointer by John-Di as Maccabi trail 60:55.

Malaga continued their momentum into the fourth quarter increasing their lead to 62:55, Augustine increased the locals' lead to 65:55 forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout, DeShaun kept Maccabi in the game with a three points play (67:60). Pierre got ejected after committing his second unsportsmanlike foul allowing Malaga to increase their lead again to 71:60. Art and Kane took Malaga's lead down, but Nedovic reacted (76:66). McCollum increased Malaga's lead to 78:66 from which the yellows couldn't recover, at the end Malaga gets the 83:69 win.
