Coach Spahija starting five: John-Di, Roll, Zoosman, Bolden and Parakhouski. Maccabi opened the game more focused as they were up 8:3 after a three pointer by Zoosman. Segev and Mashour entered the game and increased the lead to 14-7. Karam and Ashdod's Adam Ariel bumped heads and were forced to go to the bench. Cohen scored and set the final score of the first quarter 17-9.
Jackson scored at the beginning of the second quarter to make it a double digit lead19-9. Cohen, Kane and Art were the next to score as the scoreboard showed a yellow 26-12 as the quarter reached its halfway mark. Ashdod started a run of their own and at halftime Maccabi were up 37-30.
Ashdod's momentum continued in second half as they made it 39-34 two minutes into the third quarter. Cohen and Bolden reacted as Maccabi regained its halftime lead. The Locals scored again to make it 43-41 which forced coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Cohen continued with his great ability and alongside with Roll gave Maccabi a double digit lead 55:45. Though John-Di scored a three pointer Ashdod didn’t panic as they finished the quarter strong and down by just five 62:57.
Ashdod opened the final period with an 8-2 run to take the lead however they lost Levi who committed his fifth foul soon after. Cohen scored a mid-range shot to give Maccabi back the lead, Laury scored and tied the game at 67 apiece. Jackson was sharp on the defensive end and alongside Cohen led Maccabi to a 9-2 run (76:69) with five minutes left in the game. Roll and Jackson scored for Maccabi and kept Ashdod away 90:80 in the end and a 6-0 record.
