"The team wants to win every game", said coach Neven Spahija. "The team really suffered lately and had a lot of difficulties, but I think that success in life comes when you know how to handle difficulty and how to find a way out as soon as possible, and I think that the coaches and players have enough ability to do that. I have a clear message to all of our fans, that are the best fans in the world for me, I know they suffer and how much they are disappointed and how sad they are for what that has happened to Maccabi lately, but they have to be sure that we are doing our best and that we will never give up, this is the time to resolve the problem and I hope that we're going to do it from tomorrow".
"Holon is a good team that looks a bit different since Glen Rice left, but for them it's also the time to adjust to plating without him, they are playing at home which is a difficult court to play in, but we are ready; we're going to give our best and we're going to try and make less mistakes than we did against Jerusalem, coaches and players, and to try and go on a winning streak again".
"Everybody is feeling pretty good, just to go out and compete again, get a big road win against Holon", said Alex Tyus. "We haven't beaten them this year so I think that the guys are looking forward to that instead of looking at the past. We''' have to just go out there and play hard with a lot of energy and also with focus; and we need to play a 40 minute game, we've been playing really well for 30 minutes or 35 and at the end kind of letting the win slip from us".
