Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv continued its preseason journey against the EuroLeague runner ups Fenerbache. The game started with both teams struggling to score, Fener took the halftime lead, Maccabi bounced back in the third and even had the lead in the fourth but Fenerbache kept their composure as they secured the 60:65 W over Maccabi.
Coach Spahija's starting five: Wilbekin, Roll, Avdija, Johnny and Cohen. O'Bryant was the first to score for the yellows (3:0) in the first quarter. Gudoric scored from deep to put Fener on the scoreboard but Scottie reacted from distance as well to keep Maccabi ahead 6:3. Coach Spahija saw his team putting in the hustle as they increased their lead to 9:3 with just under four minutes remaining in the first quarter. Melli and Ennis kept Fener in the game as they brought their team to within a striking distance (10:8).
Tyus connected with Kane for a thunderous dunk (14:10) but Sloukas managed to beat the buzzer as he scored from distance as Fener trail 14:13 at the end of the first quarter.
Fener took the 15:18 lead at the beginning of the second quarter, but Cohen and O'Bryant scored back to back threes to give Maccabi back the 21:19 lead. Gudoric completed a 5:0 run for Fener with a back door cut (21:24). Biberovic and Gudoric completed a 7:0 run to put Fener ahead 24:31 with just under two minutes remaining in the second quarter. Maccabi's late damage control ended the first half with the yellows trailing 28:31.

Caloiaro scored seven points to give Maccabi the 39:34 lead with just under two minutes remaining in the third quarter, Ennis made it a one possession game but O'Bryant and Zoosman brought Maccabi's lead back to five (41:36). Ennis and Lauvergne scored for Fener but Kane had the final say in third quarter as he increased Maccabi's lead to 43:40.
O'Bryant increased Maccabi's lead to 47:42 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Ennis scored for Fener but Ray reacted with a three point play (50:44). Duverioglu trimmed Maccabi's lead to 50:48 forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Vesely's free throws kept Fener close to Maccabi (53:51). Ennis and Sloukas gave Fenerbache the 54:57 lead with just over two minutes remaining in the game. Roll tied the game with a shooter's play executed to perfection but Fener answered with four points taking the 61:57 lead from which Maccabi couldn't recover. At the Fenerbache gets the 60:65 Win.
