Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv faced Khimki in their last game at the Giannakopoulos tournament, Khimki took control early in the game but Spahija's squad kept their composure every time Khimki made a run. Maccabi completed their comeback in the fourth but Khimki took back the lead with just over a minute remaining in the game however Black found Zoosman for a huge clutch three to get Maccabi over the hump as Maccabi takes the 86:82 win over Khimki. Tyus (23P&9R) led the four scorers in double digits, Black 11P & 13R and Roll added 18P, 4R &3A.
Coach Spahija's starting five: Wilbekin, Black, Zoosman, Pargo and Cohen. Khimki started the game swinging as they took the early 8:0 lead forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Cohen and Black scored trimming Khimki's lead to 8:4. Shved and Crocker made back to back threes to take the double digit lead (16:6). Pargo and Wilbekin scored five points for Maccabi trimming Khimki's lead to 16:11 but the Russians reacted with five of their own (21:11). Both teams exchanged baskets with Khimki keeping their double digit lead (27:17) at the end of the first quarter.
Black and Tyus brought trimmed Khimki's lead to 27:22 at the beginning of the second quarter. Maccabi converted great pressure on defense to easy points on fastbreaks trimming Khimki's lead to 29:28 forcing coach Bartzokas to call for a timeout. Maccabi went in and out side to side to find Roll for an open three (31:31). Black was on fire as he gave Maccabi the 34:36 lead. Crocker's three pointer gave the lead back to Khimki, but Tyus tied the game with a thunderous dunk (39:39). Khimki had the last word in the second quarter taking the 43:39 lead at halftime.
Wilbekin scored from downtown but Shved reacted with one of his own (46:42). Gill and Shved increased Khimki's lead to 51:42 forcing coach Spahija to call for a timeout. Roll's heatwave trimmed Khimki's lead to 53:50 forcing coach Bartzokas to call for a timeout. Mickey increased Khimki's lead to 58:50 but Tyus and Wilbekin kept Maccabi in the game (58:54). Mickey and Shved managed to put Khimki ahead by nine points but Ray's free throws ended the third quarter with Maccabi trailing 69:62.

Shved gave the edge to Khimki but Zoosman and Tyus completed a quick comeback (80:84) from which Khimki couldn't comeback as Maccabi clinched the 82:86 win.
