Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv signed guard-forward Levi Randolph for the upcoming season, with an option for one more season. The 31-year-old swingman (1.98 m, 6 ft 6 in) joins the yellows after spending two seasons at Hapoel Jerusalem, where he was selected to the all-Israeli league team.

"Levi Randolph fits our plans at the small forward position", noted head coach Oded Kattash to the club's official website. "Naturally, we've been watching him from up close for the past two seasons and apart from his great abilities on the court, he is tough, a positive leader in the dressing room, and a player that can help us with the upcoming challenges".

"I’m excited for this next step in my career", said Randolph. "I'm looking forward to returning back to Israel and representing the club, fans, and country at the highest level. I really appreciate the organization for giving me an opportunity".

"I am glad that a player like Levi is joining us", commented Maccabi's sporting director Avi Even. "He has proven in the past few years that he is more than deserving to play in the EuroLeague and I am sure that he will contribute greatly to the team both on the court and off. Levi is the type of player who makes a team better and he arrives to Maccabi with a lot of hunger to proving himself".

Randolph played mostly at the 3 spot for Jerusalem, but can play as a second guard on both sides of the court. The veteran has a leader's mentality and showcases good outside shooting, great feel for the game and an ability to rise to the occasion. He has proven himself in the European stage and obviously has deep knowledge of the Israeli basketball scene.

Last season in the Israeli league, Randolph played 28 minutes per game in the capital, providing 16.5 PPG, 40% from three-point range, 2.9 RPG and 2.9 APG. In the Basketball Champions League, the swingman delivered over 15 points per game in each of the past three seasons. In the past season, his averages in the competition were 16.2 PPG on 42.2% from deep, 4.4 RPG, and 3.2 APG.

Levi Randolph was born and raised in Madison, Alabama, where he also played in high school. He spent full four seasons at Alabama Crimson Tide, where he received the nod as the 2015 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the year in his senior season. He went undrafted, and despite signing for the Boston Celtics, did not get to play in the NBA.

After a season with the Maine Red Claws in the G-League, Randolph began a globetrotting journey that saw him play for Avellino and Sassari in Italy, Strasbourg in France, the Canton Charge back in the G-League, New Zealand Breakers in the NBL and in Oostende in Belgium. It was in the latter when the forward was crowned as the BCL top scorer in 2022. That summer he made the move to Israel, and after two years in Jerusalem, he made the move to Tel Aviv.
