Maccabi and Sorkin agree on new deal until 2029
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Roman Sorkin have reached an agreement on a new 5-year deal, that will ensure the outstanding big-man stays a Maccabist until 2029. The reigning MVP of the Israeli league and a national team star, Sorkin will once again lead the champions' front line.

Roman joined Maccabi in 2021, and proved his worth year-by-year with excellent offensive contribution both in the Israeli league and the EuroLeague. Last season, he posted averages of 16.2 PPG and 5.9 RPG in only 23 minutes, shooting at an amazing 49% clip from deep range. In the European competition, Sorkin contributed 6.8 PPG and 3.1 RPG in under 16 minutes.
