Daniel Kessel has been Maccabi Tel Aviv's sports psychologist since the summer of 2021. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is a graduate of Ms.c from Brunel University in London, England.
Kessel immigrated to Israel when he was 12 years old and, after concluding his military service, worked as a sports psychologist at Maccabi Petah Tikva football club's youth department.
Since 2015, he has served as a sports psychologist for the Israeli triathlon team and is a lecturer at the Wingate Institute's Coaches School.
