Avraham (Avi) Even functions as head of scouting and player development at Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv. He is also a member of the advisory committee at the club. Even grew up in Holon and played in Hapoel Holon's youth teams and in Israel's cadet and youth national teams.
After filling head and assistant coach's roles in Yavne, Bnei Herzeliya, and youth national teams, in 2006 Even started coaching Maccabi's youth team while serving as the department's GM. One year later, he joined the senior team staff as an assistant coach and, over the years, worked under Zvika Sherf, Pini Gershon, David Blatt, and Guy Goodes.
He was called twice to act as interim coach and, in 2022, led the Yellows to their first appearance in the Euroleague playoffs after seven seasons. At the end of the season, he returned to his previous role.
