Completed his fifth season with the club.Announced his retirement in June 2000. Returned to his No 11 jersey in January 2003. With Maccabi won five League titles (1997 – 2000, 2003), four Nstional Cups and played in the 2000 Final Four in Thessaloniki. Started his career in the junior team of Ramat Efal, moved to Hapoel Givtayim and then had three wonderful seasons in Hapoel Galil Elyon culminating by winning the League championship in 1993. Then he joined the University of Connecticut where he played three seasons. In the 93/94 was voted Rookie of the Year in the Big East. His record with UCONN: 89 wins, 13 losses with averages of 13.0 pts and 5.5 assists, still a UCONN record. In summer 1996 was chosen in 36th place in the NBA draft by Los Angeles Clippers but elected to return ro Israel and join Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv. In December 1998 was a member of the East team in FIBA Eurostars in Berlin. A member of the Israel National Team which he represented in four European Championships.
