Randle is a left-handed forward with outstanding blocking ability for his height. He is a fighter, a brilliant defensive player who is usually matched with the star of the opposing team. He is an excellent offensive rebounder with a soft touch from mid-range and in the paint, and has an exemplary character. In his first season with Maccabi he was one of the top players on the team, with averages of 12 points and 5.6 rebounds in the Euroleague, and the second-best index rating (after Smith).
In the summer of 2008, Randle went straight to Israel after graduating from the University of Illinois. This coming season will be his eighth in the Israeli Premier League. With the exception of a short stint with German club Alba Berlin, Randle has spent his entire pro career in Israel: two years with Gilboa/Galil, two years in Jerusalem, six months with Hapoel Tel Aviv, a year with Maccabi Haifa, and this will be his second season with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
While playing for Gilboa/Galil in his first – and impressive - season in Israel, Randle was named Defensive Player of the Year, and posted averages of 14.3 points and 7.5 rebounds. In his second season in the Galilee, 2009-10, Randle – along with Jeremy Pargo – won the Israeli Championship, while contributing 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He was named MVP of the Final Four, and to the All-Israeli League First Team. He joined Hapoel Jerusalem at the start of the 2010-11 season and played there for two seasons. In October of 2012 Randle signed with German club Alba Berlin on a two-month contract, but he was injured and released. In February 2013 Randle joined Hapoel Tel Aviv. Randle had an outstanding season in 2013-14 while playing for Maccabi Haifa, reaching the Final and winning Defensive Player of the Year for the second time. Last season, while playing for Maccabi, he was chosen yet again as the Best Defensive Player of the Year in the Israeli Winner Sal League.
